What we do, and what we don’t

24x7 Home Pros is a free referral service. We connect you with independent local pros. We are not a contractor. We don’t perform or supervise any work, and the pros are not our employees.

Your agreement is with the pro

Each pro sets their own prices and terms, and will quote you before starting work. Any agreement for work is between you and the pro.

You’re never obligated to hire a pro we connect you with.

No guarantees about availability

We try to connect you quickly, but we can’t promise that a pro will be available, or how soon one will arrive.

We check that pros show a license and proof of insurance before they join, but we don’t guarantee their work.

Emergencies

If anyone is hurt or in danger, or you smell gas, call 911 first. We are not an emergency service.

Using the service fairly

Please only send real requests for your own home or one you’re responsible for. Don’t send prank, spam or sales requests, or use someone else’s phone number.

Cost

Calling us and being referred is free for homeowners. You pay only the pro you hire.

Calls and texts

By giving us permission, you agree that we and the pro we connect you with may call or text you about your request, including by automated means. You can reply STOP to any text to stop them. See the privacy policy for how we handle your information.

Text messages

Program: 24x7 Home Pros texts. Homeowners who ask for help get texts about their own request, such as a confirmation, the name and number of the pro who will call, and delays. Contractors in our network get new-lead alerts, claim confirmations and account notices. Anyone signing in gets a one-time code.

How often: it varies with your request or your lead alerts. A homeowner usually gets a few texts per request. A contractor gets one per job alert, plus account notices.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We don’t send marketing texts, and we never share your mobile number or your permission to text you with anyone for their marketing.
